2nd single "Subsonic Glow" out now

The 2nd single from my new album "Effra" is out now. It's called "Subsonic Glow" and I wrote it for that moment in a set when things have been getting a bit too serious and intense and what everyone needs is good bit of old-fashioned swing to lift their mood.
Honouring a jazz tradition that's been in play since the 1940s I've written a contrafact - a new melody on the harmony of an existing jazz standard - on the changes of Benny Carter's beautiful song "When Lights Are Low". It's a great chance to feature the jazz talents of the whole sextet.
